Polk Bayou Trail in Batesville, AR added: MAY07
"This Trail is a newly built nature trail that is about a mile long walk.
It has wood chips along the trail which makes for a nice smooth walk.
It takes you right along the Polk Bayou which is the best part of this
trail. The view toward the Polk Bayou along this trail brings you
amazing scenery with green covered trees and a flowing creek.
Park next to the bridge on White Drive in Batesville. This trail is
located near the Independence County Fairgrounds.

"This park was an amazing place. It had pretty much everything for
anyone. Including - basketball court, baseball field, tennis courts, golf
driving range, swimming, fishing, boating, children's playgrounds, and
many cabins. The park even has horse stables near some of the camp
sites. It has two lakes on the park called Lake Austell and Lake Dunn.
These lakes are really great for fishing. There are a total of four hiking
trails great for enjoying the scenery of the Arkansas forests. This
park is located in the city of Wynne, Arkansas located not too far
off Interstate 40 and about 40 miles west of Memphis, TN. Enjoy these
