The Greers Ferry Lake is an amazing place and a great get away
during the summer in Arkansas.  Holding the lake water;  the
Greers Ferry Dam is located in Cleburne County and is near Heber Springs, Arkansas.
 This dam was dedicated in October of 1963 by President John F. Kennedy.  
It is the first time that a president has ever been in Cleburne County.
This dedication was about a month before his death.
